Inauguration of Assembly Programming Training Program -21/10/2024

Training Program on Assembly programming using 8085 was inaugurated by Dr. R. L. Chakrasali, Principal, Dr. S. A. Joshi, HOD ECE at 4:45PM in Room No 27 ECE Dept. More than 85 students have registered for the program. The resource person for the training is Dr. S. V. Viraktamath. MOC was done by Ms. Vaishnavi Peshwe. 

Assembly Programming course - Oct 2024

I am planning to conduct a value added crash course on “Assembly Programming” for SDMCET students from 21 Oct 2024 in room No 27. This is aimed at covering the in depth assembly programming concepts. This is expected to help the students for

• Placement activities
• Competitive examinations such as GATE, IES, NET.
• To improve your programming skills.
• Understanding other subjects like Micro controllers, Operating Systems, IOT, embedded systems and pointer concepts.

 Any branch students know 8085 programming it is an added advantage for them and they are not studying this subject in their regular courses also.  I would like to start this program tentatively 21 Oct 2024 in room no 27. Classes will be engaged after college hours (4:45PM to 6:45PM) . The duration of the proposed course is 12-15 Hrs (Approximately). Such crash course was conducted in the month of Jan 2015 for 57 ECE students as well as the same course was conducted in the month of Feb 2016 for 120 students, in the month of September 2017 for SDMCET students (E&CE, IS, CSE, Civil, Chemical, E&E and Mech) as well as training was conducted in September 2018, and also in 2022, 23. 

There is no fee for this course as it is organised by CIII. Bus facility may be provided by the college if you need. 3rd semester any branch students are eligible.

I am planning to conduct a value added crash course on “Microprocessor 8085” for SDMCET students in the month of Dec 2022. This is aimed at covering the in depth assembly programming concepts. This is expected to help the students for

• Understanding other subjects like Micro controllers, IOT, embedded systems and pointer concepts.

Classes will be engaged after college hours (4:30PM to 6:00PM) and also on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (if you wish). The duration of the proposed course is 11-13 Hrs (Approximately). Such crash course was conducted in the month of Jan 2015 for 57 ECE students as well as the same course was conducted in the month of Feb 2016 for 120 students, in the month of September 2017 for SDMCET students (E&CE, IS, CSE, Civil, Chemecal, E&E and Mech) as well as training was conducted in September 2018.

 I have planned to conduct a value added crash course on “Microprocessor 8085” for IT branch students (3^rd to 7^th sem) unser the guidance of CIII. This is aimed at covering the in depth assembly programming concepts. This is expected to help the students for

· Placement activities

· Competitive examinations such as GATE, IES, NET etc.

· Mini/ Hobby or Major Projects.

·Understanding other subjects like Micro controllers, embedded systems.

 If IT (E&CE, IS, CSE, E&E and Mech) branch students know 8085 programing it is an added advantage for them and they are not studying this subject in their regular courses also.  I would like to start this program tentatively First week of September. Classes will be engaged after college hours (5PM to 7PM) and also on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The duration of the proposed course is 18-20Hrs (Approximately). It is expected to train minimum 80 students. Such crash course was conducted in the month of Jan 2015 for 57 ECE students as well as the same course was conducted in the month of Feb 2016 for 120 IT branch students (E&CE, IS, CSE, E&E and Mech) as well as in 2017.
